Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Content uniqueness is a text characteristic showing how different it is from other texts published on the internet. In our system, uniqueness is determined by sending requests to search engines with text fragments and analyzing the search results.

If a quoted exact-match query returns no results or only your page, the text is considered unique. If other pages with the exact same text are found, it is considered non-unique.

Content visibility shows whether the text will appear in search results when searching for its fragments in quotes. If the search engine finds your content with such a query and shows it in results, it is considered "visible".

If the search engine returns no results for a quoted query or shows "results without quotes", it means the content is being filtered by search algorithms — this situation is called "Original Empty". In this case, the content is considered invisible or "filtered".

Sentence-level analysis allows more precise identification of problematic text areas. If a paragraph is shown as non-unique or filtered, it does not mean the entire text has issues — often only 1-2 sentences are causing the problem.

By analyzing each sentence individually, you can:

  • Identify specific problematic fragments
  • Rewrite only the non-unique sentences, not the entire paragraph
  • Better understand the reasons for content filtering
  • Preserve more original content when editing

It is recommended to rescan content in the following cases:

  • After making changes to content on the site
  • If you notice changes in search results for your content
  • Once every 1-3 months for regular monitoring
  • If other sites may have copied your content

It is also worth rescanning individual paragraphs or sentences if you see their status has changed, to confirm the changes are reflected correctly.

The following parameters are available when configuring SERP analysis:

  • Search domain — the search engine domain to use for analysis (e.g., google.com.ua, google.com)
  • Country (gl) — country code for localizing search results (e.g., us for United States)
  • Language (hl) — search interface language code (e.g., en for English)
  • Device type — allows emulating requests from mobile devices or desktops
  • Number of results — how many results to analyze in the search results page

For the most accurate analysis, it is recommended to use local settings matching your target audience.
